- The leak test brain is checked to confirm no internal leaks and that it interacts with the control system as expected
- The test and reference delivery circuits are checked to confirm they are leak free
- All test fixtures’ integrity are confirmed including all seals on each
- Calibrated orifices are verified and NIST traceable certificates issued as requested
- The calibration of the leak tester for a given fixture and part is verified
- If required, the leak tester is calibrated
- The pressure calibration of the leak tester is verified and calibrated if required
- A summary of all equipment as found and left is provided within a week of the visit
Most times the stands are functioning satisfactorily and minor leaks are found and fixed. On occasion a major issue has been identified and next steps are discussed with the customer.
